Reinvigorating an Iconic Flagship
The imposing architectural style of the iconic Aldwych House, invested with period grandeur, has been brought to life in an exciting and contemporary manner through a set of carefully art directed interior visualisations. Working alongside renowned architectural designers Morey Smith and Sheppard Robson, Sanders Studios proposed scene compositions, lighting solutions and narrative in order to best showcase this stunning commercial re-invigoration.
The adventurous proposal was a complete re-brand and upgrade of a dated 1980s interior fit-out and entrance. Softly lit, ambient tones theme the spaces and showcase the beautiful high-end finish throughout.
Situated within the Westminster Conservation Area, the proposal creates a bold design addition that rationalises the rooftop of this prominent London building with a dramatic pavillion-like structure, made up of a series of geometrical-folded forms. The structure will be clad in zinc with carefully positioned glazing to frame views towards Southbank and the City, whilst also controlling solar gain.
