National Library Competition
Stylised perspective to support a winning competition proposal by Lund Hagem Arkitekter and Atelier Oslo for the creation of Norway’s new national library.
As creative partners, Sanders Studios had crucial input into the mood and art direction of the artwork, communicating a sense of public vibrancy whilst maintaining focus on the carefully integrated proposal.
The striking proposal sees the site divided into three buildings, allowing it to sit harmoniously within the city centre. Positioned towards The National Opera House, visitors are met with stunning views across Oslo city, the fjord and beautiful surrounding green hills. The top of the library cantilevers out to announce its presence to visitors arriving from downtown Oslo and the Central Station.
