The creation of a fully immersive, untethered VR experience of Sanlorenzo’s 50M superyacht.
Produced at clay level, the intent behind the 52Steel VR experience is to provide a sense of scale and spatial design whilst keeping design updates and turnaround times quick. The perfect presentation tool for early stage design reviews. This particular demonstration ha the option to begin with a ‘tender approach’ by water, allowing a grand reveal of the superyacht in context as well as a study of exterior and deck design.
Whether you prefer to teleport to different areas or walk freely through the superyacht, our intuitive controls give you the flexibility to explore every detail at your own pace. Our solution boasts multi-user integration allowing colleagues to collaborate in the virtual space and feedback on design in real-time. Designers and client teams can gain unique insights with first and third-person perspectives as viewed from companion apps on tablets and PCs. By using the controls, viewers also have the ability to use the pointer tool to highlight areas of interest and the measuring tool to accurately measure real world space. These features are invaluable for collaborative decision-making, ensuring everyone is on the same page from the early stages through to completion.
